Bacon-Wrapped Trout

3/4 cup butter, melted

1 pckg (1.5 oz.) dry onion soup mix

1/4 tsp. pepper

3 lbs. pan-dressed fresh trout

1/2 lb. bacon, sliced

Combine butter, soup mis and pepper; baste trout. Wrap bacon slices around trout, secure with toothpicks. Cook over medium-hot coals for 10-15 minutes, turn and baste. Cook 10-15 minutes longer or until trout flakes easily. Serves 4.
